'Just the Start'

 

 

 

 

I just had your number and I messaged you,

Though you were not interested, still you replied, 'Who are you?'

 

I made my way through to convincing you,

Had to type a great deal to let you know that you are the one I wish to know.

 

But time then changed, as minutes just passed,

Since unknown to each other, been chatting for the first time;

 

First time it happened to me , I saw some good signs,

The moment I saw ‘Yeah, we can be friends’ I was on cloud nine.

 

Now all you’ve got to do is have trust, keep faith,

Girl I ain’t got no schemes, all I need is you, I'm no fake,

 

Baby all I want you to know is, I'm suffering through LOVE at First Sight,

I know you don’t believe in it, but I'm surely trapped in it tight.

 

It’s like I don’t want myself a way out, I just wanna let you in,

Try being in my shoes and know what is struggling like, for what you can’t win.

 

I will try my level best to win your heart,

Though my poem ends as of now, but remember this is 'Just the Start'.
